The Point
Murallis was created out of a desire to improve the discoverability of public artwork. With endless works spread about innumerous streets, alleys and fences it can be difficult to get a grasp of the full breadth of works available even within a short walking distance, more so to see past works that have been painted over or otherwise removed/tampered.
How It Works

About the Developer
I enjoy the lively public art scene in Toronto but noticed that for every work I can see there are at least another dozen hidden away in some adjacent laneway or courtyard which is not immediately obvious to be a point of interest. Considering this compounds across the entire city, there must be hundreds if not thousands of works that most people will never see. While there are some public repositories, they tend to be incomplete or highly curated. I sought to create a community-driven solution, where corrections and additions can be done by anyone and kept updated. All I ask, dear visitor, is that you upload or improve one work. Perhaps there are works by an artist you know personally? Ask them to reach out to the support email and get verified so they may maintain their own works and information. I am open to suggestions for site improvements, feature additions, or general questions.
